Ten Years Strong At Muscle Beach in Venice, California
In case you missed it, we recently turned 10 and we celebrated the best way we know how: surrounded by friends and family at the mecca of bodybuilding.
On any given day, you can rock up under LA's golden sunsets to witness lifters from Los Angeles and beyond chalk up to lift heavy at the iconic Muscle Beach in Venice, California. But on September 16th, you might have seen some more familiar faces...
The event was an epic celebration of lifting, culture and community - encouraging a new generation of lifters to come forward, and you can bet your 1RM that the OGs were there to support. ICYMI, here’s a few of our own personal highlights from the day...
LIFTING CLINICS
Steve Cook, Ryan Terry, Matt Morsia, Jamal Browner and Stefi Cohen hosted some amazing lifting and posing clinics throughout the day and shared a few of their own tips and tricks. The Gymshark fam showed up in style and hit some incredible PRs - shoutout to Kaela for pulling 300lbs, you absolute weapon…

Our very own Ben Francis also got to sit down with Brad Martyn from Raw Gear and Christian Guzman from Alphalete whilst he was out in LA to chat all things business...

TEN YEARS STRONG
A lot can happen in ten years...
10 years ago, Whitney Simmons had never been to a gym.
10 years ago, Francis Ngannou was sleeping in a parking lot.
10 years ago, Katie Taylor had never had a professional fight.
10 years ago, Ben Francis was a pizza boy.
Gymshark was started in a garage in 2012 by a kid with a dream and a sewing machine.
Today, our surroundings look a little different, but through it all our mentality has always remained the same: to go further, we go together.
That’s why to celebrate our 10th anniversary, we’re throwing a special lifting event for the Gymshark family on September 16th at the iconic Muscle Beach in Venice, California.
Expect competitions, lifting seminars, brand partner booths, a live DJ, exclusive merch and loooooads more…
