Black History Month, US.

Nothing is stronger than family. It's because of you, we are who we are.

Thank you for never letting us forget where we came from. Thank you for reminding us where we should be going.

. . .

What Can You Expect To Find This Month At Gymshark?

Some stories can't be told by anyone but those who've lived them themselves. That's why this month, in celebration of Black History Month US, we're creating a place for people to open up, share their own stories, and start new conversations.

Our stories not only shape our identities. They educate those who are willing to listen.

Athletes from our family will tell stories about their own, Black content creators will showcase their talent, art, and creative flair on Gymshark platforms, and we'll hear from more extraordinary, ordinary people in our Humans of Conditioning series.

What's Coming Up?

  • NEW episodes of Humans of Conditioning, featuring Hellah Sidibe and Roland Pollard.

  • A series of athlete IGTV stories which explore the strength and support of family.

  • A collection of letters written by our athletes to their younger selves, reflecting on their upbringing and the experiences that have helped shape their identity today.

  • Creative content celebrating Black culture through illustration and food for thought.

  • Insight and education into BASL (Black American Sign Language), and afro-textured Black hair, plus hairstyling tips from a variety of incredible Black content creators.

  • All of that, amongst much more coming this Black History Month.

Check back throughout the month to find quick links to a complete collection and celebration of stories about family.

3. A Letter To My Younger Self:

If you could write a letter to your younger self, would it be a handbook on survival - filled with wit and sarcasm? Or would the words illustrate how the adversity you faced later became the experience you needed to face the world?

This Black History Month, we've asked four athletes from our family to write a letter to their younger selves. Reflecting back on their upbringing, their family, and the experiences that have helped shape their identity today, these letters talk about the reality of life.

Throughout February, one letter will be published every Monday - each with a story entirely different from the last.

. . .

You may not believe it, but from your story, others will learn. The words you speak, the art you draw, the flavors you cook with - each opens a new door that talks about the reality of life in a way that others may not have imagined existed.

Our stories not only shape our identities. They educate those who are willing to listen.

But our question to you, is what is your story, and what does family mean to you?

We'd love for you to join us in support, education, and celebration this month by sharing your story in the comment section below!
